When it comes to the actual material, there's not much to say. It's gallium, and it's awesome. My only real complaint is the packaging. The gallium comes in a square plastic container with a smaller round hole at the top, and since the gallium always settles back into it's square shape when it cools, you physically can't take it of the container without liquifying it (which, while it isn't all that difficult, needs to be done carefully since you're dealing with a plastic container that can't be heated using say...a bunsen burner). Most chemistry enthusiasts probably have the right material for easy storage, but for a layperson like myself, it would have been nicer if the container was a) the same shape as the hole that you're supposed to remove the gallium from, and b) something that can be heated significantly without heat of melting

This is a relatively minor quibble though. It's an excellent product and everyone should buy it. Playing with a liquid metal that WON'T kill you is very fun
