- Ultra-Tow Car Tow Dolly - 2800-Lb. Capacity Review

When I ordered this tow dolly it had an estimated delivery date of July 23rd- July 28th. Since I was going to use the product on the on the 28th/29th (my trip had flexible dates) I thought this would be fine so I ordered it. After I ordered it the delivery estimate was pushed back until 27th-31st. Although not ideal, I saw many reviewers say how excellent the delivery process had been. I recieved the tracking notification and set to waiting. Well on the 25th when I checked the location I saw it was checked into Chicago and on its way to Denver via train. Denver is only an hour from my location so I figured it would arrive on or near the 27th to 28th . On the 26th I checked and it was in Denver so I figured on the 27th they would deliver it. Well that didnt happen. I received a phone call telling me the tow dolly would be delivered on the 30th. I thought this was ridiculous since it was only an hour away from me and offered instead to drive to pick it up in which case I was told that it was somewhere between Chicago and Denver and wouldn't arrive in Denver until the 29th. With that explanation I accepted that maybe the computer was wrong and that I would just have to wait and did so. Then on the 30th the delivery guy called and said they couldnt deliver it and resheduled the appoinment. Then on the 31st the delivery guy showed up to my house with no forklift to remove it(it is one of those trucks that have the forklifts in the back). He said his forklift was out of service and they were hoping I had one. Last time I checked most people don't have forklifts at thier houses which is why these trucks were developed. So we rescheduled the delivery for the next day (the 1st) when he had a truck with a forklift. Well the next day they still did not have a forklift. So trying to problem solve I asked if they could deliver it to my father in laws business and we could just use a forklift there. That was an agreeable solution so we traveled up there just to be told when I get there that the manager that originally approved this idea changed his mind becuase of liability to his truck. So in order to finally get this tow dolly we decided to try and download it by hand so we open the box and the tow dolly which was advertised as limited assmebly required was in a ton of pieces. That did make for a more convienent download but it was a pain to put together. Lastly to top it all off once I had the tow dolly downloaded I pick up the shipping bill to discover that it was recieved the night of the 25th in denver which meant it sat for 5 days before the first attempted delivery. For the amount of money I paid for this I feel like the hassle was way to much.
