I used one these as a loaner tool from Auto Zone to remove a ball joint from the steering knuckle of a stubborn 1998 Ford Taurus: After breaking an other tool, I used a 4 1/2 foot breaker bar to turn this,and the tool worked. OTC sells a similar puller, but without the bolt centering 'caps'. I will be buying one soon as I think it is indestructible
