This is basically the best thing ever. How's that for an all-encompassing review, eh? Seriously, though, it's really great for building small structures that need to be extremely rigid, adjustable, or both. I built an 8ft wide projector mount so that my two projectors could form a single ultrawide screen on the wall. I was easily able to construct it in such a way that the two projectors' positions could be adjusted, then locked in place to form and keep a single seamless image. I haven't had to touch them since! It makes a really professional looking assembly when attached to my ceiling; a far nicer thing to look at than my previously cobbled together mounting system.

You'll need to purchase bolting brackets and the appropriate T-slot screws to assemble anything with this, but you should find those parts on here or other industrial supply sites easily. Things like these 80/20 15 Series 4304 8-HOLE INSIDE CORNER BRACKET and... um, they don't seem to have any of the necessary fasteners on Amazon, but McMaster will have a good supply of T-slot fasteners for you. Check the 80/20 website, 8020.net for their catalog and some tools to help you figure out what you need for your project.

We also use 80/20 bars at work a lot for building test frames and other temporary structures. It's never let me down. The only not positive thing about it is the price, but hey, that's the metal market for you. This is high quality aluminum with excellent tolerances over its length, so you get what you pay for!
