This tool is excellent for installing stainless steel cable ties. It cinches them tightly around a bundle and then, with a flick of the handle on the side, it makes a clean cut and leaves a tie that won't cut you in the future. It is a very heftily built tool that should last far into the future, with proper care and maintenance. I would recommend this tool to anyone who wants/needs to use stainless steel cable ties. Sure, you can get a much fancier tool, to the tune of several hundred dollars and up, but this inexpensive tool will satisfy the needs of most homeowners. I don't know that I would rate it for commercial use but it most assuredly would work commercially for a long time. One has to weigh price against usage. I am a homeowner and use stainless ties occasionally, so this tool will last me the remainder of my lifetime and probably my son and grandson also. In a nutshell, this is an excellent tool for doing what it was designed to do. It will not work on anything but stainless ties---no plastic ties.
