I specifically wanted a round pin anchor shackle with a pin to secure it so I wouldn't have to mess with binding the threaded-type shackle in order to prevent it from unintentionally disconnecting from the anchor. I could not find one in my local West Marine store or at Home Depot or Lowes. I also specifically wanted galvanizes because my 10 lb fluke anchor is galvanized and my 3/8" anchor chair is galvanized. This one from Amazon fit my needs perfectly. I used one to connect between the anchor chair and anchor and a second one to connect between the anchor chain and the galvanized eye on the nylon anchor line. I have a secure anchor rode.
