The Ultravation Ultramax UME, Single Fixed Lamp, Economy Series is our most affordable line of duct-mounted, ultraviolet, germicidal, air treatment system, for sterilizing the air in your home, office, or other building. Use it to kill airborne microorganisms such as mold, viruses, bacteria, VOC's, odors, and many other biological agents. This unit comes standard with a singlel integrated Philips, low mercury, high intensity, twin tube UVC Lamps, operating at 120 VAC, 60 Hz. It has a UV safety viewing port and is available with Ultravation's optional Refresh PCO odor reducion module which reduces harmful bacteria, VOC agents, and neutralizes unwanted odors. These models are most effective for treating spaces between 600 ft2 and 900 ft2 and are also used for irradiating the cooling coil. Good product, easy to install. I had this product before, and the ballast burned out. It's best to get new. I had a twelve inch bulb previously, I switched to sixteen inch now.
