I used these mounting bases countless times when I worked in the electronic prototype department of a large aerospace company. They were perfect for securing cables neatly to the inside of electrical enclosures.

Now that I'm retired I find lots of uses for them around my home. Most recently, I installed an under-cabinet light in the kitchen and needed to hide the cord on its way to a hidden outlet behind the microwave oven. Enter the mounting bases. (See my customer image above)

If you like to do things yourself you will find many occasions to use these mounting bases with Ty-Raps to make your project look neat and professional. The glue sticks nicely, but may not work well for very porous surfaces such as unpainted or unvarnished wood. For anything else, you can't go wrong.
