The only hard part was removing the original brass casters from the piano legs first. As they have 4 screws each holding them on, it was a small challenge getting them off. These dollies seem very much over priced for cast iron, and rubber-like wheels. If they were each hand made, I don't think they need to cost so much. But the spider dollies are twice the cost. They do not also screw on to the piano legs, or fasten in any way to them. So they have a tendency to turn under the legs some. They served the purpose while my floors were replaced. But they are not suited for distances longer than that. I'm considering a padded car jack on a table, to lift the legs so I can get the original casters and cups back under the piano legs, as each leg will have to be held in the air while I refit and screw each caster back on each one.
