Maxpower 00435 24-Inch Regular Tip Locking Clamp Review

These came up for sale and I actually ordered the wrong size by mistake...a very fortunate mistake! When they arrived I was admittedly shocked by the size of the pair as they are nearly the length of an arm and of a substantial weight however, within a short period of time these have been put to good use for everything from a fence repair to cabinet installation. The extra large size makes them versatile enough for many functions you would normally not think of...it is one of those tools that you wonder how you did without after actually taking the time to use it!

Fortunately, the 18 inch version provides an excellent intermediate size between this and the more typiacal smaller versions. As with all locking clamps of every size, it's nice to have the padded swivel tips - these do not but most of the projects that would use something this big are not necessarily "delicate" like associated with smaller locking clamps.

Overall a terrific deal and highly functional item. I purchased two but this only comes as ONE item.

This rope design switchplate was exactly what I wanted to match a rope design door hardware we had already purchased. I tried a smiliar design from another company but it was to rustic a look. The Baldwin in the Venetian bronze is a heavy quality, the design is consistant all around the product and was a more finished quality that I was looking for. It was not too dark but not too light in the rubbed areas. I'm very pleased.
