I bought this as part of my efforts to be more of a "do-it-yourself"er re: car maintenance -- I bought this to help me remove the windshield wiper arms from my car. This is a 3 - jaw gear puller, yes, with the jaws in triangular arrangement; what the item description doesn't say is that it can also be converted to a 2-jaw puller. There is an extra stud on the shaft, opposite one of the other studs; move one of the jaws to this extra stud, remove one of the other jaws, and--presto!--you have a 2-jaw puller.

Bought 2 of these and mounted them in my truck. Really simple to install if you have easy access to put the nuts on the other side of the mounting bolts. I did not have easy access as I was mounting them to the bed of my truck but that's an obstacle I knew I was going to run into when I bought them. One you get them installed they do the job nicely. Took two bike over 500 miles with no issue. You have to tie the bikes down a little more than with some of the more expensive models as all these do is limit some of the lateral motion but for the money these are a great buy. Being easily removable is definitely a big perk.

it is good for the job so far but it tend to jam a lot and you want to keep in mind that it is noisy and becomes really hard to lift once you reach about 1600 lb. I would definitely try to get something that doesn't jam as much especially when you have to do a lot of lifting and when time of an essence. Also first look at it out of the box it felt like it won't be able to carry the 1 Ton and it will break after few uses.

The prodcut is great- works perfect for capturing information regarding the portfolio office I am responsible for. We use the markers to hold cards that detail the activity of each project we own. The roll is easy to cut, and the magnet works well. Only issue is the cards that should fit do not lay flat within the holder. I have run into the same issue when I bought them in lots of 20. I did not order the cards from the same vendor, so maybe they are cut to fit. I expected a standard 3" card to slide perfectly and lay flat within the holder. Love the ability to cut my own and save on costs, but not laying falt will likley prevent me from ordering again.
