I bought this winch a year ago (spring of 2012). I like to use a product for a good amount of time before posting feedback. Some people get an item and before they even try it they post a 5 star review. This is a 1st class quality winch and will hold up to the most challenging projects. It has plenty of power for the purpose for which it was made. I've greatly abused mine by winching logs up to 20 inches in diameter. My winch took a major beating last summer and still has plenty of fight in it. This was one of the best tool investments I've ever made. This winch has easily saved me thousands of dollars in tree service charges.
