Love these, but even though I was trying to be extra careful with them, finger's slipped once and one got a little dent and chip. Then I showed them to my dad, and despite my warning he was totally unprepared for how strong they were and went they smacked together he just about demolished them. I knew about their susceptibility to rusting, so I coated them with clear nail polish immediately after each incident. So, not smooth squares now, but the magnetism is still great. Will probably have to repurpose them from my original intent, but c'est la vie - they're still great magnets.I'm thinking about foam tape to help protect them (me from the newly sharp edges, and them from each other).
