It is best to use 1" hardware with this nylon webbing. Dee rings, buckle, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.

Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We recommend that you use no more than 75% or less of the tensile strength of any webbing.

I ordered a 20 yd. roll of hot pink, 1" nylon webbing. From beginning to end, this was a pleasant experience. My plan was to make an extra long training leash for my "pretty in pink" border collie adoptee. The color of the Hot Pink is stunning. It's a gorgeous, bright, "stand out" pink. I'm tempted to call it a "cotton candy" pink. But it's prettier than that. The quality of this webbing can't be beat. I was apprehensive in regard to that aspect, but, don't let that hold you back. This is quality webbing. Excellent weight. For leashes, it's perfect. I once bought a very inexpensive nylon leash, thinking they were all the same. Not so. Cheap webbing is very rough along the edges and hard to comfortably handle. This webbing is just the opposite. Comfortable, flexible and surprisingly, very easy to sew on a regular, household sewing machine. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I've been using my newly made training leash for about a month now. It's still in 'like new' condition. When it needs to be washed, I'll probably use luke warm water as regular dirt doesn't usually go too deep into the fiber. I have no doubt that it will wear like iron.
